Assisted chin-ups

The body weight is an essential factor limiting the number of chin-ups you can do. In order to benefit from this program at the beginner level you have to “reduce” your body weight to match your strength level.

I suggest one of these four methods:

  • Assisted chin-up machine
  • Rack chin-ups
  • Use of ellastic bands
  • Working a variety of grips at the lat pull-downs machine

Regardless of the method you choose, make sure you can do 8 to 10 repetitions.
